플래트하고 무리가 없는 화려함. - 우에츠키 타카시
MXL990보다 플래트하고, 이것도 좋았습니다. 고역에 걸쳐 뻗어나감이 있으므로, 화려하게 들리는 경향이 있습니다.
약간 색깔이 있는데요, 그 색깔이 여성보컬에는 잘 맞는것 같습니다. 어쿠스틱 키타에서도 깔끔한 음색으로, 커팅에 딱 입니다. MXL990과 비교를 해도 전혀 무리가 없는 자연스러운 화려함이 있다고 할 수 있습니다. 파워풀한 느낌이 매우 기분 좋으므로 강하게 연주하는 기타에도 아주 좋을것 같습니다. Mbox에서도 SSL에서도 그다지 인상이 바뀌지 않으므로 홈레코딩에 적격인것 같습니다.

전체의 인상은 MXL990과 약간 다르며, 중저역부근이 침착합니다. 당당한 이미지로, 전체적으로 록 스타일입니다. 남성보컬에서는 중역이
앞으로 나오는것 같은, 밀어내는 강한 음이였습니다. 약간 고역의 뻗어나감이 부족한 것은 EQ등으로 보정하면 충분하게 대응할 수 있다고 생각합니다. 어쿠스틱 기타에서는 끈끈함이 강한 사운드로, 두꺼운 느낌이 들었습니다. 음의 시작과 고역의 뻗어나감이 약간 부족한 점이 아쉬웠습니다.
